Is it any wonder I barely use this site anymore? DA has constantly shown how much they don't value us. When we tell them something is bad, they don't listen and do it anyway (Eclipse). They're doing it again.

Honestly, fuck the guys at DA. Fuck them all.

When I was 3 or 4, my mum once made a meal of salted haddock. I don't remember this meal, but my dad sure does.

To say this dish was awful is an understatement. The sheer amount of salt made it unbearable, and little me could not take it. I hated it, and complained.

My mum did eventually realise just how bad it was, but you know what she did first?

She forced it down my throat. Told me off for not eating that horrid meal, gave me no other options. It was only when my dad told her it was bad and she actually tried it herself that she realised it was truly bad.

Unfortunately, Eclipse is a lot like that salted haddock. And DA is not my mum, meaning they aren't going to realise what a horrible mistake they've made, because they're convinced it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Covid-19

1 min read
Guys, with this virus now officially a pandemic, I just want to stress to you to stay safe.

Washing your hands for longer & more often, and staying inside as much as possible are the number 1 ways to prevent it. I know you likely already are, but please take this thing seriously. I don't want to lose any of you guys.

Having recently watched the Azur Lane Anime, I began thinking to myself: we have three successful games and series with anthropomorphic warships (Kantai Collection being the second, and Arpeggio of Blue Steel being the third).
We've also had Girls und Panzer and High School Fleet as well, the high school meets WW2 vehicle trope. And there's Girls Frontline as well.

Yet there's little to no sign of warplanes of the era getting the same treatment. There was Strike Witches, but that didn't go anywhere. So I've been brainstorming on how I could fill that gap.

Introducing Kūgun Musume, literally Air Force Daughters. My attempt to bring warplanes back into the spotlight and be up there with Kancolle and Azur Lane.
Borrowing many of the same concepts as these other series, we see famous WW2 warplanes turned into human sized weapons to repel the onslaught of the enemy (a name for whom I have not yet come up with yet).
The nations of the world of united under the common cause of defeating these enemies, who have driven humanity from the seas and the skies, and are encroaching on the land.
Famous and not so famous types from various nations play a part.
The P-51 Mustang & B-17 would form the back bone of the US KuMusu force, with named aircraft being 'main characters' and providing episode names (Big Beautiful Doll, Miss Velma, Princess Elizabeth, Ye Olde Pub, Nine'O'Nine), with focus on their stories from the War and in the current conflict. The famed Silverplate B-29's Enola Gay and Bockscar would appear, but they would fear the destructive power they wield, the chance for an anti-nuclear narrative. Both would be forever scarred, with Bockscar being totally withdrawn.

As RAF planes tended not to be named (outside of bombers), episodes focusing on fighters would instead use their serials as the title (MH434, R4118 etc.).

Luftwaffe KuMusu episodes would instead be titled after the pilot of the focused aircraft (Hartmann, Galland), the same with Italian and Japanese planes.

The enemy is comprised of bitter and hateful concepts and prototypes that were never built or used in action. Among their number is the
Messerschmitt Me-509 & P.1108, the Heinkel Lerche, the Focke Wulf Ta183 and Triebflugel, not to mention Allied types like the Boeing YB-40, Vought XF5U, and Curtiss XP-55 Ascender. Prototypes would tend to be able to be purified and brought back to the side of humanity as they were still built and existed IRL. But design concepts that never got off the drawing board are lost to us and can only be fought. And fictional hoax designs like the Kurowashi S-31 would be unhinged and insane, seeing things with twisted logic, as most of these designs would have had unrealistic properties. These hoaxes would therefore be the most dangerous enemies as these unrealistic abilities have translated to their corrupted forms and give them unparalleled combat power.

This is only a concept, and not everything I've thought of is here. I'll add it on when I can remember it all. It's not often I have an 'epiphany' (for lack of a better term) like this, and I wanted to get it all down whilst it's fresh in my mind.

UPDATE to the update.

All links are being updated. I have uploaded all four parts to my Google Drive and are now free to download.

Parts 3 and 4 are being deleted from Youtube owing to copyright issues.

Whilst I've been planning on redoing the audio book for some time now, I may have to do it soon.

Part 3 is blocked in 31 countries, and part 4 is also flagged for copyright.

As such, I'm going to have to remove them or mute the offending areas, and that will likely inhibit the experience.

So if you want to download all four parts, here's how:

Click on these Google Drive links for the relevant parts on my Google Drive.
[Part 1]
[Part 2]
[Part 3]
[Part 4]

Once again, Do NOT upload them ANYWHERE else, especially parts 3 and 4. These are for personal use only.

The Arctic Avengers and Karoly are hereby notified.
